Cloud IaaS AUTOMATION FOR AWS

This Automation Book delivers AWS cloud power to users, and at the same time provides control over AWS cloud resources in terms of life cycle and cost. This Automation Book includes out-of-the-box functionality that provides:

  • Users with seamless access to AWS cloud functionality – increasing productivity while maintaining control over cost.
  • Business users with the capability to request and manage AWS VMs through self-service.
  • Automated processes to provision VMs in minutes – removing time-intensive manual tasks and reducing waiting time.
  • Approval steps – ensuring that resources are validated before they are created.
  • Service subscription – enabling automatic removal of resources once they are no longer needed.

Cloud SaaS AUTOMATION FOR O365

Office 365 automation includes workflow building blocks to manage common and repetitive tasks and out-of-the-box office 365 services. Office 365 automation includes functionality to:

  • Create/remove an O365 user account (on a desired plan, such as E1, E3, and E5).
  • Block/unblock an O365 user.
  • Add/remove a group member in O365.
  • Assign/un-assign an O365 license (plan) to/from a user.
  • Change an O365 user password.
  • Create/remove an O365 group.
  • Edit an O365 user attributes such as Office, Description, Last name etc.
  • Request Project and Visio applications using predefined workflows, with description on how to extend for additional applications.
  • Display the O365 applications of a user based on inventory, with the capability for users to remove their own licenses.
Product features
The following new features have been added to Snow Automation Platform 3.2:
  • Updated installer to support Windows Server 2016
  • Inventory services: possibility to set service properties, including pricing, service name, and description, when inventorying services
  • Blocking of unsupported browsers. A "Browser not supported" message now displays when a user attempts to view the Snow Automation Platform web page with an unsupported browser.
  • My services view: loading indicator has been added when inventory services are working in the background. 
Corrections

The following defects have been corrected in Snow Automation Platform 3.2:

  • Handling for DateTime and Bool parameter types in PowerShell scripts has been updated to allow empty values.
  • Export functionality has been updated to include run conditions.
  • Fixed issue where Automation Book cannot be imported when the same service account already exists in the system
  • Functionality to save parameter values in a task that is not complete fixed
  • Corrected indicators of parameter config levels in workflow and service admin views
