Enhancements in Snow License Manager 8.1.2:

  • Improvement of scalability with Automation Platform
  • The SLM about page will only show the SQL database instance name if the user has the administrator role

Corrections in Snow License Manager 8.1.2:

  • Application metadata import no longer fails if the application name contains characters not supported
    by XML (PRB0040129)
  • Power state now has correct value under Physical and virtual servers per datacenter report for the
    virtual machines where we have the Power state (PRB0040383)
  • Computers with duplicate rows in SnowInventory database will be correctly removed after deletion in
    Snow License Manager (PRB0040640)
  • Downloaded Update existing computers import template from Snow License Manager is no longer
    corrupted, can now be updated and imported in Snow License Manager (PRB0040737)
  • Error no longer occurs when running Refresh Alerts Procedure (PRB0040109)
  • Add License now supports a decimal value for SupportCost field for pre-selected German language in
    Snow License Manager (PRB0040354)
  • Error no longer occurs when trying to validate an unassigned inventory software row in Snow
    Management and Configuration Centre (SMaCC) (PRB0040023)
  • Error no longer occurs when a user wants to hide selected unassigned rows on application definition
    tab in Snow Management and Configuration Centre (SMaCC) (PRB0040551)
  • Customer contact email now supports more than 120 characters (PRB0040024)
  • The Application Family Name column in the Applications box under Application definitions in Snow Management and Configuration Centre (SMaCC) is now correctly populated (PRB0040367)
  • Enhance the error message when adding the custom field that has the same name and category as an existing custom field
  • Add/delete notification, delete custom field and add/remove application from Black list and White list now correctly logs an entry in the Action log
