What does good SAM look like? This!!
Following on from the previous three blogs on "what does good SAM look like?" on Snow Globe and our most recent blog on SAM Charter; we've taken the time to plot how the processes in the SAM Charter Process Kit might reasonably look if they were modelled on one sheet of paper. If you are serious about SAM and wish to ensure that you are getting the very best out of Snow Licence Manager, then this is the bridge you need to build between SAM, the rest of IT and the business as a whole.
A few points to note:
This is a template - and so the justifications for connecting the processes as currently modelled may well need qualifying or enhancing to exactly match your unique SAM requirements
This is a template - and so the justifications for the existence of certain processes may well need qualifying or even creating to exactly match your unique SAM requirements
The PDF is A1 in size, so I would not recommend trying to read this on your mobile phone - it could send you SAM blind!
In reference to the previous blogs on Snow Globe, we made mention of how the process maps offered a 30,000ft view of a given SAM process; well this is your 60,000ft view of your SAM System.
