This poll is to see what the community thinks about the value of marking the given solution as correct.
Do you think it adds value or does it depend on the on the question or you don't see any value at all?

When several people mark an answer as being "helpful" I assume that it is also "correct". So in my opinion there is no need for another field in addition to "like" and "helpful".
That is correct that they can mark the answer as helpful, but in my honest opinion marking an answer as helpful does not necessarily mean it is the correct answer to the question that has been asked.
You can mark any question in the thread as helpful but you can only mark 1 answer as the correct one.
in case that only a single answer can be marked as being correct, this might change my mind.
I can only encourage everyone to mark answers as helpful, if they answered the initinal question! I have also seen people to answer their own question with a quick summary, if the answer was not located in one reply. This brings quality to Snow Globe and everyone benefits from it.

In my opinion you need to differentiate.
There are many questions, that can be answered by one answer. And then it will be very good when this answer will be marked as correct.
But on the other side there are also many questions that allow several answers. For example questions for Best Practice. There are often several ways to get a solution and we as customers then can decide what will be the best for our company. In that cases you will not have one correct answer, but it will be good when suiting answers will be marked as helpful.
You are correct that there can be several answers to a question and it would be good to differentiate them.
When it comes to a question regarding best practice I would suggest to have a separate Best Practice section and have the questions posted there.Regarding any other question posted in the various sections, it would be good if the person marks the question as correct which helped them solve their problem. That way when someone is experiencing the same issue, they have the answer straight away and if it does not work, they will have other answers that are marked as helpful to guide them in the right direction.
