How do I identify which devices have connected to a Microsoft Exchange server?
If you would like to see which devices have synchronized with a Microsoft Exchange server, follow these steps in Snow Device Manager:
Any device that does not have data in the newly added column has not established a partnership with the Microsoft Exchange environment; in other words, the device has never synchronized with the Microsoft Exchange server
In order to do this as part of the cloud extender there is a configuration to connect to exchange. This actually is the tool that will talk to exchange to see all of those devices. Just using SDM will not pull that information you need to have exchange connection set up. This will pull all of the devices that exchange as seen into SDM for you to see which ones are accessing emails, giving you the ability to block or allow devices with exchange.
Microsoft Exchange Online is an email, calendar, and contacts solution delivered as a cloud service, hosted by Microsoft. Exchange Online provides end users with a familiar email experience across PCs, the Web and mobile devices, while giving IT administrators or small businesses and professionals web-based tools for managing their online deployment.Microsoft Exchange is available both as on-premises software and as a hosted service with Exchange Online. Customers can also choose to combine both on-premises and online options in a hybrid deployment.
