Does Snow offer a ServiceNow connector? If yes, how does it work?
Snow has deep integration with ServiceNow including a dedicated connector. This integration enables key functions including:
Here are a few links for more information:
The old ServiceNow SIM connector.
This exists in many older SIM versions, and is called “ServiceNow Connector” and “ServiceNow Scoped Application Connector”. (depending on which ServiceNow release you are on).
Note: The ServiceNow store link for this is kept up for marketing and lead generation purposes. We don’t recommend anyone actually installing or using this connector anymore. Once Snow for ServiceNow (see #2 below) is published, I expect this to be updated/removed from the store)
Snow for ServiceNow.
The product was released November 17 2016 by Snow. It is currently undergoing certification by ServiceNow before it is published in the ServiceNow Store. In the meantime, we can provide the required XML update sets, however, as much as possible we want customers to wait for the version from the store. The main reason for this, is due to version management, updates/upgrades, etc. We don’t want to manage lots of file versions of the XML update sets across multiple customers.
In the SIM, there are two connectors required to feed data into ServiceNow (“ServiceNow Catalog” and “ServiceNow CMDB”).

Snow for ServiceNow Express
This is published in the ServiceNow store, and is a special version supporting the stripped down ServiceNow edition called Express.
There is a separate SIM connector for this, called “ServiceNow Express”.
