Can the Snow agent be configured with a Login ID and password?
Good day Mayank,
I'm not aware of such option in the Agent. Which result would you like to achieve? Can you please explain what's your need, so we can see how we can help you further?
Meanwhile, here's the link to our latest Guide for Agent v.6 (Windows):

Thank you so much Ester This is what I am looking for
Thanks you soo much for your response,
What we need to achieve is to get the results in the path specified. Folder has been shared to Everyone with full control rights. Is there any possibilities that we can configure and login details in the agent.
If i understood that correctly, you may want to have the service of the agent run in a certain account context. This account would then have the access to the required path of yours.
May this be a possible solution?
Thanks for your response. But is it possible to configure in agent.
Thanks for clarifying.
I think you need to add a drop location for the files, being an UNC path with specific authorizations.

Please let me know if it guides you towards the result you'd like to achieve.
Thanks for your response !
Do we have same specification for agent version 5 as the provided User guide for is Agent 6 Version.
The agent will have the same access as the account running the service. Per default it is the local system account on the computer. But you can change the service to run with another account like a domain account.
But how can we change the service to be run with another account upon when the installation is done. Do you mean that this needs to be configured at every machine after installation? Or can it be done in bulk by configuring it at the agent level (before installation)?
with Snow agent msi it is not possible to change the Snow service account during installation.
If you want to change the account you have to use third party tools.
Its not part of the supported msi package.
You can do this from command line by following this article
How to change user credentials of windows service from command line? - Stack Overflow
If I wanted to do this in an environment I administrate I would create an .MST for the msi package and run this command as a custom action in the end of the installation. That way you could deploy it using an active directory.
If you use a deployment tool like SCCM you can just push the command after the msi package as a part of the installation.
