Will i.e. Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 Clients still be able to send their inventory to Snow Inventory if SMBv1 is deactivated?
Deactivating SMBv1 doesn't have any impact on the delivery of data of the Snow agents.
Typically we send our inventory results in a fully encrypted file using the HTTP file transfer protocols. That means, typically you do not need any part of the SMB protocol stacks. The only caveat is if you are sending files to a file share, and not one of our IDR\Service gates.
Thanks Peter & Landom!
