Issues logging into Snow License Manager with AD Credentials

My goal is to set up users so they can log in with their domain credentials, rather than local users.

I followed this guide ServiceNow, but I am getting the below 401 error now on my Snow License Manager web page.

I am logged in to my laptop as 'DOMAIN\USER1', so I set up a new user called 'DOMAIN\USER1' and I get this error.

There is nothing in any of the logs C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Snow License Manager\Web\Logs to show any more information, nor is there anything in the IIS inetpub log file directory.

So to confirm.

I have UseWindowsAuthentication set to 'True'

I have Anon Auth disabled, and Windows Auth turned on.

Any ideas what is going on here?

I turned on Anon Auth so I get the login screen again, it then lets me login with 'DOMAIN\USER1', but only with the password I entered on the console, not my actual AD password.

Surely there has got to be a simpler way to do AD authentication?

Ideally I would like to have an AD group called 'Snow Admins' and 'Snow Reporters' and put the people in here, then they can automatically log in, but I don't think this product can do this?
