I want to add some servers which don't have an agent. Also a manual scan is not possible.
i'm currently checking with the Inventory Team if we may share a tool to create inventory files. I'll update you as soon as i get feedback.

We'd also be very interested in this tool, I hope that you will be able to share it with us
Hi eva-christiane.saringer, DavidHobbs,
We decided the best way regarding this topic would be not to share the tool as it is in the current state.
To explain the statement a bit further for a better understanding:
That being said, it is actually possible to request professional services to help you create uninventoriable assets. Please contact your local account manager. The consultants will then proceed to check the tool compatibility and create with you the desired assets.
I hope this clears up the decision. Let me know if you have any questions.
That would be really useful.
You should also be able to use SnowXML files to import machines without an agent, here is an idea about how that can be created from a csv export with a powershell script. The SnowXML files can then be imported with the Snow Integration Manager. I hope that helps.
Curious about this.
When you say "I want to add some servers which don't have an agent. Also a manual scan is not possible.", do you mean you want to add servers to the "All Computers" report (lists all inventoried computers), so you can add custom fields and such? I assume the servers are listed in the "non-inventoried" report?
E.G. You have a server appliance (perhaps an OVA) that you cannot add the agent to as it's a black box, but would like to see it in the "All computers" report. If I could add servers (without an agent to that report) I could then apply custom fields and metadata to those servers.
I don't like you cant add custom fields to non inventoried computers, kind of forced to add as objects, and the reporting in that is pretty basic.
