I am considering using the Application Deny rules to prevent prohibited applications from being run in our environment, but looking at the Deny rules section in the configuration section of the Inventory 5 console, the rules are very basic.
It appears I have to specify a Path, which causes me an issue because people can install applications in all sorts of different places. Also it is easy for a user to overcome the deny policy by simply renaming the file.
I also cannot find an awful lot of documentation, and certainly no examples on how to use this feature. Can you please provide some examples and documentation, and clarify if there is a way to overcome a fixed path, and file name within the rules.
