We are running with hosted SPE platform. Can we get report which are installed in customer's environment but not reflecting in SLM. We are setup with multitenant customer in hosted platform.
You can create a custom report to list all exe files that are not attached to an application.
For that you need to query the Inventory database ... but the report could be huge. Also, if an application has multiple exe files, not all of them are necesarily used for recognition so you could see false positive in your report.
In conclusion, it is easier (although not 100% accurate) to check the recognition of applications as they are reported by departments rather than to try to find what is installed based on the Inventoried files.
If the concern is about security, then it is possible to check for malicious files one by one in the Inventory database, maybe create a recognition rule and associate the malicious application to the blacklist that Snow can manage.
Reporting on blacklisted applications is very easy.
When you say "which are installed" , what are you referring to? SnowAgents or Applications?
Here I'm referring to application which are installed for particular customer in our hosted SPE platform.
