I have some problems with logging into Snow with domain credentials. Can someone please point me in the direction of where I could find any logs which would show authentication errors in SLM?
you should be able to find logs here: "C:\inetpub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC1".
It might be that your account is not created correctly. Cause if you are having single-sign-on enabled in IIS.
You need to have SLM account in format: "domain\username". Then you should be automatically able to login to web portal.
Snow does not integrate with AD as explained by Ondřej.
But if your user is defined in the SLM SMACC in the form of "domain\username", then SLM will not ask for credentials, even if your password in your Snow SMACC account is different from your password in AD.
If you are trying to log in to the SMACC, then you will be asked for your login details. The credentials for the SLM SMACC and the Inventory SMACC are different from each other too (sigh).
