Since last week the DUJ runs for a very long time. Last 2 times 45 hours and 76 hours. Before that it was max 1.5 hours.
Using SLM 9.2.01 and Inventory 6.0.5
Have you raised this as a support ticket yet? I would log a ticket as a priority 1.
met vriendelijke groet,
As Jelle says, it sounds like you should open a high priority ticket. Please let us know how it goes!
I think that Mark.Walther had a similar long running DUJ problem here, although I'm not sure if that was just a one-off. But maybe Mark might also have some advice?
The few times it ran longer than expected was due to SQL backups getting stuck, at least that's what the SQL team told me, LOL.
I did resolved itself with no intervention on my part. But if you are concerned you can export the DUJ logs from the SMACC and look at the differences between one that ran quick and one that ran log. Compare the times per section and see what took longer.
I have raised a ticket, will let you know the outcome
I also found same behavior and DUJ taking much time as usual and average 7-8 Hrs time elapsed for Job completion and DUJ still running since yesterday (14-06-2019) from 10:00 PM IST.
I will also log support ticket for this.
DUJ finished and same took 13 Hrs+ time to complete.
We have been experiencing similar behaviour after upgrading to SLM 9.2.1 and Inv Server 6.0.5. Our update job was taking around 5 hours but after the upgrade it's taking around 13 hours.
The problem appears to be around database table indexes, so it may be worth speaking with Snow support about this.
We had the same issue where our DUJ went up from 5 hours to 13+ hours. We worked with the Snow technical team, and a fix was applied and we are back down to 4 hours now. Tom.Newberry and craig.davies are you able to advise?
I have been doing some testing on the upgrade to version 9 of SLM (with Inventory 6) . First DUJ took 24 hours, second run around 12 hours, the third was around 7 hours, fourth was about 5 and half hours, but this is with test data that has not changed for weeks, it then jumped back up to 7 hours. How can it take 7 hours to process the data that has not changed? For the customers that have upgraded to SLM 9 have you see your DUJ time reduce once the platform has settled down?
