I have a number of custom reports that show "export failed". Where would I look to determine why?
the first thing to check is whether the SnowLicenseManagerReportExporter service is running on the Snow License Manager application server.
This service manages the schedule and export.
Secondly you need to ensure that when scheduling reports you tick the active box.
The other thing to check is if your reports are to be sent using email that the email server is configured correctly in the Snow Management and Configuration Center.
Yes, the Service is running. But your point about the email server being correct did trigger a thought. They have been migrating from Exchange Server 2010 to 2013 and there were notices about SMTP relays changing. I will need to check that.
Where do I look to change that?
You have to go to SMACC (Snow Management and Configuration Center) and look at the system core settings. There will you find the SMTP settings.
That was it. wrong IP. Updated it and it now works, thanks.
