I found some records in SLM8.1 and Inventory server are not matched after rename computer name. It was over 48 hours but SLM still not be updated. Any solution enforce data sync process between two systems ?
A suggestion would be to run the Data Update Job in a "full mode".
When the Data Update Job runs there are elements of the steps that run in a delta mode, so not everything is brought across.
There is a setting in the Snow Management and Configuration Center under Configuration - System Core Settings called TMP_UPDATE_JOB_MODE, if you set this to 12 this will run the next Data Update Job in "full mode".
(The setting is temporary and will reset to default after the first run)
Note: This will increase the length of the job time so take this into consideration before activating this setting.
This may not ultimately solve the issue as there are a number of factors to consider with client identity, but if these two computers should link this is would be our first step to investigate.

This is a known issue and is being investigated by the Snow Escalations team. You can identify the records by running the following Query against the Inventory Database.
SELECT d.Hostname ,c.HostName ,c.ClientID ,d.ClientId ,c.LastScanDate ,d.LastUpdateFROM inv.DataClientView2 d INNER JOIN SnowLicenseManager.dbo.tblComputer c ON c.ClientID = d.ClientIdWHERE d.HostName != c.HostName
If you need a workaround whilst this is being investigated you can contact Snow Support
