SNOW Scanning in Germany - privacy laws

I work for a Global company with offices around the world. A question came up recently regarding SNOW scanning and the privacy laws in Germany. Has anyone else run across this? If so, how did you deal with it?

Management and Legal are looking for a short summary or scope description of what data is being collected from a privacy standpoint. This includes both with the local SNOW client and Inventory 5 discovery.

Has anyone had to provide anything like this to Corp legal? Right now I am being blocked from deploying clients and scanning our German locations until I can provide more scope of what is being done. They are particularly interested in the usage reporting. I know this is kind of vague, but don't want to recreate the wheel here if someone has a good start on this. Thanks,

Also, if this is in the wrong Discussion forum I apologize in advance.
