How to debug failed agent updates?

Hi all,

we added a support file via Inventory/Agent Updates to around 1000 machines. Actually the update progress shows that around 50% of the updates failed. I didn't find the log file to analyse what could have caused them to fail. Does anyone know where I can find this log? I also wonder how to restart the update for the affected machines.
