Application Whitelist option is not showing inside Administration section of SLM Web User Interface.
Please help on this why option is not showing.
SLM version is 8.1.01 build 6372.
Have you checked in your Snow Management and Configuration Center (SMACC) under Basic Settings, ACTIVATE_APPLICATION_WHITELISTING is enabled.
Other thing to check is Permissions, again in the Snow Management and Configuration Center (SMACC), under Security, Roles, highlight the role the user is using and click on Edit Role, then check Web -> Admin -> Administer Application Whilelist is enabled.

Can we get the report for Whitelist applications like Blacklist applications report?
And there is any way to upload the same in bulk without doing manual entry.
There is no out of the box report for Whitelisted software, but it is very easy to do. Just open the All Applications report, then click on add a criteria, select Whilelisted from the dropdown and set equal to yes.
Once you have the report looking how you like, you can always save that report (Click on the three dots, and select save report) that way next time you dont have to configure it all again.
Sorry I forgot to answer the import question. I am not aware of a way to import applications to the whitelist. I know on the whitelist page you can configure various rules to automatically add applications to the whitelist, for example licenced application, or applications with more than x installs etc.
Is anyone else in the community aware of a method of importing applications to the whitelist?
the only way to import into the whitelist is via a sql script - snowsupport would be able to develop a script to do this as this is what we had to do to populate white and back lists
