We installed snow agent on windows 2003 servers , However Data folder is missing in those servers, Due to this Win2003 servers not reporting to master server. What needs to be done ?
which version of the Agent are you using?
Please check the following:
Snow Agent 5.3.0 with Win Server 2003 (and older OS's) resulting in crash
And for system requirements please check: System Requirements (page 35)
I hope this helps

Thanks for your help
We are using version 5.2.4 on all win 2003 server machines as per latest requirement, Below are the issues which we are facing.
1. Out of 50 win2k3 servers 30 servers generating the .snowpack file but not sending it to the inventory server.
2. For rest 20 servers - Data folder missing.
So in point 1 we have an option to report those servers manually to inventory server, However we have no idea for what needs to be done in point 2 becuase we dont have "Data folder" in it to get the snowpack files.
Regarding point 1, Did you check communication between win2k3 servers where snowpack files getting generated and Snow Inventory, if multiple snowpack files are into Data folder then may be communication issue.
Regarding point 2, try manual scanning and check whether scan initiated?
If everything fine then reach out with Snow Support for further assistance.
Thanks for your response.
We have checked and below are our findings.
Point 1. Yes there are multiple .snowpack files in Data folders, i can see the .snowpack file for every day since we have installed snow agent on that servers. Please suggest for this.
Point 2. We have tried to re-install snow agent on random server and and now we can see the data folder is created in that server , however still .snowpack file not generated in it.
Do i still go with Manual scan and check if .snowpack file is creating or not ?
Because if Data folder is creating in server then .snowpack file should be there in Data folder after installation done.
