We are deleting computers from snowboard or deleted by QUARANTINE_MANAGEMENT computers are not getting removed from inventory database and reflecting as it is in total computers in snowboard
If you're on SLM version 9.x or later verify if service SnowLicenseManagerInventoryService is doing its job by checking logs in C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Logs\InventoryService
This service is now responsible for "backward" deletion of computer in SI DB
Hi MarcoI have checked the logs and found this error "An error occurred while sending the request. Details: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel."we have checked certificates and they are working fine there is no any issue with certificate
Check first which URL is Snow trying to reach:
SELECT * [SnowLicenseManager].[inv].[tblServerAddress]
Then open broswer in SLM server and try to reach that url adding a /api/ping after it
I am not able to open or see the content after adding url and /api/ping in browserand snow trying to reach correct server address
Please see my advise in this thread:
Accidental Delete - Computers Not Removed From SQL DB
Hi Dominikplease let me know that the server address should be similar to given DNS or Subject alternative name in certificate ?I tried changes in server config I try to keep same as server address in SLM table also tried same as in certificatestill did't workRegards,Rameejraja
please share the error log including the surrounding rows.
maybe we can understand more about your issue
Hi Marco03:10:12,859 9 ERROR ConfigurationService; Pinged Resource: https://servername:443 With Error : An error occurred while sending the request. Details: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel.03:11:12,567 29 ERROR UserDeleteService; No valid API-endpoint found, aborting!03:11:12,567 26 ERROR ComputerDeleteService; No valid API-endpoint found, aborting!03:11:12,613 25 ERROR DeviceDeleteService; No valid API-endpoint found, aborting!Regards,Rameejraja
So you confirm that the "servername:443" is the same servername you are testing in your browser, on the same server where SLM is installed including FQDN ?
I guess issue is resolved now we are not getting any error in log file and connection establishment status is successful there was a issue with certificate binding and subject alternative name of that
Ok good. Thanks for letting us know.
marco.cambon xml showing Authorization has been denied for this request after adding url and /api/ping in browser
that's correct. It's just a connectivity test, don't bother the denied message.
Is the URL https or http?
