Hello,

We have a shared customer who is trying to inventory their Oracle applications in SLM. I am reviewing the Application definitions in SMACC for the manufacturer "Oracle" and I see several applications without rules. How are these applications recognized in SLM? An example is 'Oracle Internet Application Server "with these editions and versions:

Oracle Internet Application Server (Linux)

Oracle Internet Application Server 10.1 Enterprise
Oracle Internet Application Server 10.1 Java Edition (Linux)
Oracle Internet Application Server 10.1 Standard (Linux)
Oracle Internet Application Server 10g (AIX)
Oracle Internet Application Server 10g (Linux)
Oracle Internet Application Server 12.1 Enterprise (Linux)
Oracle Internet Application Server Enterprise
Oracle Internet Application Server Standard
Oracle Internet Application Server Standard Edition One
Oracle Internet Application Server: Diagnostics Pack

Are these applications recognized in SLM? If DIS can not identify these, is there another component that will?

latest SIOS or SIOMS?

Custom PS script?

Latest Snow Agent?

Your direction is much appreciated. Thank you.
