What if i used multiple snow agents in same environment like for AIX i used 2 different snow agent versions( older version and the upgraded version) and same for the windows servers as well.#
as far as I know you should have only 1 agent on the system.
Have you done differently or have you had issues related to this topic?

ester.memoli: Yes we should have only one agent on the system and it applies for all, I will explain my question
We have 10 AIX servers out of we have snow agent 6.1.0 in five servers and snow agent 6.0.2 on rest of the five, so in this case do we have any issue if we keep two snow versions in same environment (Same Network)
We applied this because we were facing config issues with the old snow agent on some server.
Need your suggestion.
Hi, I'd say that the issues on the servers should be investigated, to understand what hinders the proper functioning of the agent in the latest release.

ester.memoli : Thank you for your quick response, we will check with snow support team for this .
There are perfectly good reasons to do this in an environment. We have a customer with windows server 2003. You cannot run the v6 agents on them. So we run 5.24 on just those clients. We control the rollout of these agents (and updates) via views in the Inventory Server SMACC so that we don't accidentally upgrade these legacy servers with new agents. Works fine!
