Hi, is anyone facing any issues with the o365 connector not picking up and reporting all subscriptions from the Microsoft portal?
Yep we have this, checking the log files it says it has imported 9 SKU's into SLM, but i get a minimum of 3 products, E1 Plan, Visio, Project. Up until that recent update E4 Plan had come back to me but it seems every update E4 disappears and will come back after a random amount of time.
I have had a ticket logged with Support for a while and even had PS re-install, saw there was issues and was going to raise a new ticket which i havent seen or heard anything from.
I think this feature is still in Beta so trying to forget about it, even though its a very useful and valuable needed feature.
Fingers crossed the next version will work and continue to work at every update. Otherwise i need an off switch as theres no point in having a feature that gives a random picture.
This could be due to the fact that a part of the SKU's are not in our SKU recognition table yet.
This can be verified on the SQL server in the SnowLicenseManager database:
select * from tblReadModelO365UserSubscriptionPlans (Found customer subscription SKU's)
select * from tblSubscriptionPlan (Snow Software recognized SKU's)
By comparing the results of these 2 tables you should be able to see which SKU's you're missing based on the recognition.
I have run the two queries and getting results that dont really match up. But one thing i have notice is:
From the Snow Software recognised SKU list im Not seeing a "Microsoft Office 365 Plan E4"
E1, E3 and E5 exist but not E4 so would that be why i'm nolonger seeing my E4 Plan in my MS Office 365 subscription list?
I did a quick check and Plan E4 should be in our recognized list:
But indeed, if you don't see the subscriptions in that list, it could be that those still need to be added by our SRS/DIS team.
For this I suggest to create a support ticket with a description what PLAN/SKU you're actually missing.
So in the first query i can see many lines with:
But nothing in the second one:
Now up until 3-10-2017 when SLMEE 8.2.00/01 where installed I had the E4 plan being shown. This has happen a number of times in the past when an update is applied this list changes anything from 3 to 4 products being listed. And i do have an open ticket for O365 connector help which was opened 4 months ago.
Hi all,We also have that issue and not all O365 subscriptions are shown im SLM. I created a ticket for that last week. Thanks to Kadir.kirca for that very helpful SQL.
I adapted that SQL a bit to find easier only the unrecognized subscriptions.
select o365.AccountSKU from tblReadModelO365UserSubscriptionPlans o365
left outer join tblSubscriptionPlan sp on o365.accountsku = sp.accountsku
where sp.AccountSKU is null
group by o365.AccountSKU
In our environment I found with that SQL 8 unrecognized SKU's, for example EXCHANGESTANDARD.I added that SKU's to the already created support ticket and hope that application SKU's will be added soon.
Just ran your version of the script and there are 3 products missing from ours:
Enterprisewithscal was not in my list, both others we also have as not recognized subscriptions. So like Kadir mentioned, you should raise a ticket at Snow support. If you want to refer to my ticket, its INC0051921
And an additional note. I also got the information, free subscriptions are not displayed in SLM -> Cloud -> MS Office365
Just wanted to make sure this thread was updated - there was an error found in the synchronization from our global Snow Update Service when new subscription plans are added by our Data Intelligence Service team. This prevented many of the subscriptions we added recognition for after the release of 8.1 from being added to Snow License Manager.
This has been resolved on our end and only requires that a new SRS sync is performed (scheduled to happen once per day by default).
Hope this clears up the confusion and apologies for the inconvenience!
I can confirm that this now is solved. All our subscriptions now can be found in SLM.
But I first needed to truncate table tblsubscriptionplan. After that SUS added the new subscriptions.
I think meanwhile this should not be necessary any more.
