Troubleshoot failed client agent updates

I have been getting good a creating the packages and deploying new agents since SNOW has been releasing new versions a lot lately.


I have a question on how to troubleshoot the failures. We are almost 80% and there are over 1500 failures showing up in the Inventory 5 SMACC, under agent updates, Failed.


I can click on the failed section and see a list,  but how do I determine why that update failed? I look at the device log and see the timestamps with messages, but they don't mean anything to me. Is there some guide to what these messages mean and what to do to resolve them?


For example: client\bootconfig.cpp; snow:BootConfig::create_action: Scheduled task does not have an action configured. Or, client\messageloop.cpp; Client::MessageLoop::PerformUpdate; Failed to stage update: General erro (255): This update has already been staged locally.
