After setup network discovery in SMACC, there is discovered systems listed.
Is there a way by which we can figure out those systems where already agent deployed?
Please suggest for above.
If the Snow Agent (v5.0 or later) is succesfully deployed and if the machine is able to reach the Inventory server, it will be listed in the All Devices list. However, it could be that the Snow Agent didn't sent the inventory data yet but has been installed on the machine, then it will be greyed out but it should still be visible in the All Devices list. You can use that list to trace the machines where the Snow Agents have been installed.
The Discovery reports are actually GAP reports where you can see the non-inventoried devices.
Besides above mentioned advise, you can also create a full export from the All Devices list and compare that with your full deployment list in the deployment tool you've used to see the Gaps.
Hope this helps.
there is a report in Snow License Manager, which shows you exactly this! The report is called "Computers that are not inventoried".
It shows all computers, that are discovered via Network discovery and Active Directory discovery and subtracts all computers, that have been inventoried via a Snow Inventory Agent.
If you have any further questions, please let us know!
One remark regarding this report.
As you mentioned it shows computers that were discoverd by AD and Network Discovery. That's very helpful.
Unfortunately this report don't show not inventoried virtual computers discoverd in a cluster.
Is there a special reason?
In Snowboard, there is a widget Computer Discovery. This shows all not inventoried computers. But unfortunately I cannot scedule this.
I have just opened a Feature Request FR0002433 and put this into Product Management. If you would like to know the current status, please reach out to me.
Thank you very much Marcel
