SLM API logging

Question asked by Viktors Advocate on Apr 27, 2018

Hello Community!

Is it possible to monitor API connection (incorrect passwords, etc.). I have added additional key under settings.api section in Web.config file:

<add key="apiLogLevel" value="DEBUG"/>

After, I have noticed the following notification in C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Snow License Manager\Web\Logs\WebApi log file:

___________________________________________________________________________
2018 - 04 - 27
Application: SLM WebAPI
Log level: DEBUG
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
TIME         TYPE       CATEGORY            TEXT
2018-04-27 12:49:18 DEBUG SnowSoftware.Services.Api.Slm.Rest.Configuration.RestApiBootstrapper:ConfigureWebApi - Logging has been successfully configured

But that is all. Logging does't work. There is no any other information. I tried to type incorrect password for API user, browsed through, but nothing logged in.

Do you have any recommendations?

Best regards,

Viktors
