Does SNOW Prevent Application Outages Caused by Expired Certificates , does it auto detect the expiration date or needs to be entered manually .
your case can be done within Snow Inventory and Snow License Manager.
Our Snow Inventory Agent can be equipped with an additional PowerShell script, that can determine data of a certain certificate on a client computer. This information will be shown in a Custom Report with scheduled export function etc.
thanks so it will be an automated query to periodically lookup certificates , so should that be setup for each application we need to track ( i need to understand the complexity in large environments with unknowns ), also these shell scripts should be centrally managed
these PowerShell extensions are managed within the Snow Management and Configuration Center and can be pushed out from there, if you make changes. It is simply an addon to the existing Snow Inventory Agent and will run with the usual schedule (by default, this is daily).
To be honest, it's out of my knowledge, if you need to adapt your scripting for each application. Maybe someone else can help here?
