I'm pretty sure that the version 3 Windows agent utilizes WMI to gather Metering data.
Does the agent itself (Client Service or Scanner) also require WMI in order to schedule itself and run?
Does the version 5 agent have any different requirements related to WMI?
We noticed that some systems stopped reporting in for some reason. When we dug into it, we discovered that the Admin disabled the WMI Service. We enabled and started it and the agent ran and reported again.
