SLM - License error after test migration

we recently did a test upgrade from Snow Inventory 3.7 to 5 and SLM 7 to 8 using test licenses provided to us by our account manager. The migration itself was quite simple using the documentation and the wizard, yet when trying to login in SLM we receive following error : 


"Access denied,

invalid license information. Make sure that the database you are connecting to has the correct database version and that your license key is correct" (See Attached)


We used a backup-copy of our productive SLM database to test the migration and see if everything went well. Are there additional log files where the error is a little bit more specified ?

Has this something to do with us only receiving test licenses for up to 50 Agents? We only extracted under 50 Agents from our Snow Inventory to avoid this issue.
