I have 30+ Machines showing as communicated in the SMACC server but on the SNOW inventory they are showing as quarantined. How do I solve this issue?
Within SLM if you look at one of the machines is the Disable automatic quarantine button ticked?
If it is and the status is Quarantined it will not change, if you untick it then it will be able to update after the next scan and turn Active.
please check the last scan date in Snow License Manager of the machines. If it is not the same as stated in Snow Inventory, the machines eventually have not been transferred correctly. This could i.e. be due to a delta update job, however this is uncommon.
You can also check in the information tab of the quarantined machines, when they actually have been transferred - this means the date when data has been updated through a data update job.
Of course, as harry mentioned, the status will not change automatically if you have the automatic quarantine management box ticked.
We have noticed our licenses have all been used, we have now increased our licenses and will see it updates.
I am also facing the same issue for few servers. I have a support case open for this and still awaiting for resolution.
Will update if I get the resolution for the same.
