does anyone have a list of the connectors that are freely available with Snow License Manager as I want to check to see if I am missing out on any eg 365, Azure etc...
easiest would be to look into Snow Integration Manager and check the list of available Integration Connectors.
This would be the list as stated in Snow Integration Manager 5.11 (most recent version today).
All these connectors are available once licensed via Snow Integration Manager.
Please make sure that some connectors require special licensing and are not included in the Snow Integration Manager license. Please reach out to your account manager if you require more information.
I think the latest SIM release is 5.12.0 (1545) today. And be aware not all Connectors in the list shown are free of charge. I know e.g. for BMC Remedyforce you will need to pay separately even that it works if you start using it. It does not need a key or so but it's not free of charge. We learned the hard way
Thanks Gert-Jan. Just had a chat with a colleague and he confirmed what you said. Please get in touch with an account manager if you have detailled questions.
This is a great question Peter and didn't know that it needed to be asked.
If a Connector isn't free to use, then it shouldn't be listed on this. Snow, what is the list that is free to use and doesn't require more money for licensing so further companies don't learn the hard way?
Just FYI: KACE is now a Quest product since November 2016.
Have also raised this previously With fredrik.spolen, please remember that people using hosted solution won't have access to SIM, so for us the only alternative is to trawl through all the release notes! A simple online list of available Connectors with a note on which have an extra cost seems like the best solution here.
as I fell into this pitfall by myself, I will reach out for a list. Please allow me some time. I will post the results here.
I just had a conversation with a sales colleague and have the following answers:
1.) There are no free connectors. Every connector requires a license.
2.) There are different license bundles that allow customers to use different connectors.
3.) Please check your individual case with your account manager.
Best practice would indeed be to reach out to your account manager and request the connector that you are interested in. He/She will tell you, whether you are entitled to use it with your current license.
I know that you may be interested in a full list, but please understand that no further details can be shared at this point.
