We have one Global license for a certain product that is coverig all installations and all users. I can not find a suitable metric on the application (license settings tab). Is it set on the license? Thanks in advance. /Katarina
Snow License Manager does currently not handle "Site Licenses" or similar.
Assuming that this license grants unlimited use rights to the company, I would just add a large amount of use rights (e.g. 99.999) and then check the compliance an a regular base. If you want to, you can modify the amount later to fit the required number, but if you don't care for being massively overlicensed you can also leave it as it is...
Kind regards, Axel
I can confirm Axels statement. The best solution would be to add a high license amount.
If you would like to see this feature in the product, please feel free to open an entry in our Snow Ideas Board.
You could alternatively change the application licence settings to "no licence required" and then add a note against the application stating that it is site licensed. That way you won't interfere with any licence calculations.
This may conflict with any licenses you may have added against the application though as I don't believe you can add a license against an application that doesn't require one. In which case if you want to keep the license information to hand you could add it as an agreement but that becomes a bit of an overhead!
Depends which is more important to you, the convenience or accurate compliance numbers!
